Project Overview: Blaze Signs collaborated with Sainsbury’s to enhance their SmartCharge EV Charging initiative by designing, manufacturing, and installing comprehensive signage solutions across various sites. Our goal was to improve visibility and accessibility of the charging stations within their car parks.

Scope of Work:

  1. Large Post-Mounted Banner Signs:

    • Purpose: To signify the location of SmartCharge stations.
    • Details: Designed and installed prominent banner signs at strategic locations to guide drivers to the charging areas.
  2. Smaller Post-Mounted Directional Signs:

    • Purpose: To direct drivers to the SmartCharge stations.
    • Details: Installed clear and concise directional signs throughout the car parks, ensuring easy navigation.
  3. Totem Panels:

    • Purpose: To advertise SmartCharge as a main store offer.
    • Details: Created and placed totem panels near store entrances and high-traffic areas to highlight the availability of EV charging services.
  4. Charger Type Denotation Signs:

    • Purpose: To denote different types of chargers.
    • Details: Provided detailed signage to inform users about the specific types of chargers available at each station.

Results: The implementation of these signage solutions has significantly improved the visibility and usability of Sainsbury’s SmartCharge EV Charging stations. Customers can now easily locate and use the charging facilities, enhancing their shopping experience and promoting sustainable practices. Blaze Signs is proud to support Sainsbury’s in their commitment to environmental sustainability and customer convenience.
